Our Facilities

While our primary ministry to date has been to reach young people, we are developing our facilities to be able to be rented and used by others, both to generate income and to help like-minded people with a desire to reach those in need in our community.

Below are some of the positive ways we have been able to make use of space at The Light House.  To learn more about the renovation project, check out the Building Project page.

Kilkenny Christian Bookshop

It is the vision of Kilkenny Christian Bookstore to get Bibles and good Christian literature into the community, to help people to discover a relationship with Jesus Christ and to encourage and resource Christians in their life’s walk.

Please stop by for a visit.  We have free Bibles available for personal use for anyone interested!

Community Connect

Community Connect seeks to helps parents get the help they need.  They have used our undeveloped space to store donated equipment to help meet needs of  families. The space has now been redeployed for sale of second hand furniture (below), but we hope to continue a good relationship when the building is fully refurbished and open for use.

Furniture Fundraiser

The unrefurbished ground floor is being used for the sale of good second hand furniture. We take in donations, individual pieces and sometimes collections from house clearances etcetera. We also like to try to help out people in particular need, and have worked at times with the County Council and other local bodies to help furnish accommodation for refugees and others. The project has been a great fundraiser, and we love to tell customers and visitors about our project!
